Hilton opened Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique. Located on the North Pacific coast of Costa Rica, the resort is part of the new luxury resort community Punta Cacique.
The resort has 148 rooms and 40 suites. 22 suites with diving pools.
The development also opens or develops over 20 Waldorf Astoria residences.
The Hilton-managed property is home to regionally inspired dining options, including the iconic restaurant La Finca, the all-day restaurant Tico-Tica and the Peacock Lane Bar, which offers small plates and cocktails with local flavors, from Raw Cungucane to Costa Rican Recan Rum.

Other amenities include a multi-level pool complex, a children’s and teenagers club, and a spa that combines Aboriginal care traditions and locally sourced ingredients such as volcanic clay, cocoa and native botany. The beach along the Guanacaste coast offers lounge chairs, cottages and umbrellas.
The resort offers 10,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including a Yamato Junior Ballroom and event lawn.
Hilton said the resort is 25 minutes’ drive from Liberia’s Daniel Oduber Quillos International Airport.
