Universal Orlando has planned expansion in Epic Universe & Beyond

In a new video ahead of the grand opening of the Epic Universe, Orlando Universal and COO Karen Irwin has made its three theme parks, water parks, entertainment areas and hotels a destination resort. She also revealed that Universal Pictures has been overlooking the road from the epic universe that follows in 2026 and beyond.

This is the latest series recently emerged to draw excitement about Universal Orlando and to use it as a Walt Disney World worth the time to take a break and not just a transfer. We will cover this in the course of this post, but let’s start with a quote from Irving General Orlando’s future expansion plan:

“There are a lot of things in the works now. We have a lot of new attractions and each of our parks is already under development. We are already planning the next thing on Epic!”

This is a recent article from The New York Times.Universal Studios’ theme park, long in Disney’s shadow. “This article is essentially what the title suggests, illuminating what happened after Disney’s new parks in Florida and Texas. Plus the expansion elsewhere and new attractions with existing gates.

The short version of this story is when Mark Woodbury became Universal’s head of 2022, after theme parks became the surprise growth engine for NBCUniversal, he saw a bigger opportunity to lift Universal from the shadow of Disney. “How do we become the preferred destination for every market we choose to operate in all markets we operate in?” he said in an interview with NYT.

This is not an exaggeration. Universal Studios is in an unprecedented expansion even before the epic universe. A few years ago, the company opened another mature theme park, Universal Studios, Beijing. In addition to the Epic Universe, the Florida Complex has made its debut in recent years at several hotels and new attractions.

Then there is the upcoming Universal Texas Children’s Resort, a new permanent Halloween horror night-like experience in Las Vegas, and the recently opened Super Nintendo World in California and Osaka, Japan. Universal Studios also plans “evil” attractions, plans for Hollywood expansion, and also has a major park for the UK.

Woodbury told New York State in describing the cheaper regional concept planned for Las Vegas and Texas, Woodbury told The New York Times. Regarding the epic universe, he hopes to be able to conduct long-term business dynamics with Walt Disney World. Woodbury wants the family to see the Universal Orlando resort as a week-long destination, not just a one- or two-day attachment to a Disney vacation. “We want people to think of us first,” he said.

The clear takeaway from the media recently is that NBCuniversal has high expectations for the Epic Universe, seeing opportunities for further growth in its theme park business and will continue to make positive progress to capture more Disney’s market share (what has happened in the past decade).

Turn to comment, this mood At least I wouldn’t be surprised. Universal leadership that expresses this now also does not mean it will happen. So much depends on the epic universe, and the benefits received when it is open. Specifically, whether it has exceeded investors’ expectations in the previous few seasons or is insufficient. It’s not that fans like it, or that Universal executives are in a public victory circle, both of which are Givings.

In many ways, the debut of the epic universe reminds me of the opening of Star Wars: The Edge of the Galaxy. Obviously, the scale and scope are larger – but so are the bets. Regardless of Bob’s statement at the time, Star Wars: The Galactic’s edge had no internal expectations. There is a reason why we have never heard another sentence about the edge of the galaxy coming to Paris, because it was put on hold forward Coronavirus.

If you remember it was far away, you might recall rumors that other projects at Walt Disneyland were already on thin ice or were completely eliminated. Obviously, the closures exacerbate everything and result in more cancellations, but that’s not about the focus on ensuring the impact of Covid on Disney’s expansion. It’s the Global Plan today Depending on the epic universe of the first year, it may end up being very different. I’m not suggesting preemptive cuts – the range of results I’m talking about is still unknown. Ambitions can be reduced… or upgraded. Both are possible!

Whether it actually happens – whatever the level of ambition – expand and reimagine need Occurred at Universal Studios Orlando.

I haven’t experienced it yet, so obviously I can’t talk to more attractions in the epic universe. On paper, the ride roster is indeed the bright side to me, but it is typical of the new theme park after Disneyland. The only recent exception is Shanghai Disneyland, which is an abnormal phenomenon.

Otherwise, at the opening, the same criticism might be imposed on Hong Kong Disneyland, Animal Kingdom, Disney California adventures, and even the beloved Tokyo Disneyland Hong Kong. Oops, you can make the same criticism about the Animal Kingdom todayIn the twenty years since the opening. The epic universe does have a lot of expansion pads between the worlds, and I doubt at least one will use one of them by 2030.

The expansion of Epic Universe makes me a good “problem”. If that was fast, it was probably the park was so successful that need Helps to absorb people and increase production capacity more. This will be due to overwhelming demand and concerns about the prevalence of leaving money on the table instead of the other way around. A little like what we’re currently seeing in Magic Kingdom, but there’s a new park, not a park over 50.

On the other hand, reconstruction must be carried out at two existing gates, especially Universal Studios, Florida. it need happens as soon as possible.

Whenever fans hype the epic universe and claim that this will be the reason Orlando Universal Studios to claim the throne of Walt Disney World, or I can’t help asking them last visit to Universal Studios Florida. It would be an understatement to describe several of its lands as land that needs to be refreshed. It makes the Disneyland tomorrow world look like a good land. Dino-Rama will be at home in USF. (Okay, maybe that’s Too far)

Universal Studios Florida has received several exhibition projects in recent years, neither of which are special. Gradually improve quickly and cheaply, so at least there is. Island of Adventure is generally in better condition, with better riding lineups and superior venue production, but similar criticisms may be imposed at the park (although much more restrictive).

The “problem” that Universal Orlando will have is that the better epic universe is, by comparison, the better the two existing theme parks are. The current plan is to push expensive vacation packages to “force” people to visit Universal Studios Florida and the Island of Adventure, but that will only work for a long time.

Ultimately, organic demand will do this. It’s safe to say that when this does happen, you’ll be present at Universal Studios Florida and (to a lesser extent) the Island of Adventure will last for several years. Members attending will have some cannibalism.

What a bad difference between the epic universe and existing gates, the word of mouth among visitors to their first visit to Universal Orlando in the next few years, Universal Orlando has helped during this period to help guests attract USF and IOA, and what Walt Disney World does to capture those same tourists.

We already know Rip Ride Rockit was replaced. Again, our understanding is that Universal Orlando intends to return to the pace of its new big opening of the year. This is consistent with the latest precedents before the epic universe and the recommendations made by executives in revenue calls and interviews. This is what Walt Disney World has done again since 2027. There are good reasons to believe that competitors will adopt a similar approach. The epic universe will be this There are several years of sales in central Florida, but as Disney starts bringing new attractions and land online, the widespread pipeline obviously doesn’t want its pipeline to dry.

Rumor has it Springfield is a Pokémon-themed area on the chopping block. have no idea Anything Or make connections from any insider, my guess is that Universal Studios will move as soon as possible to create new Nintendo attractions in each existing park. Nintendo will be the gated draw with family booking Orlando, so Universal can also borrow a page from its own Harry Potter script and spread Nintendo across all 3 gates. The way to attract tourists to all three parks is more effective than forcing them to buy a package. Catch up with everything!
