Take an Uber

Uber launches UberXXL, a service that offers travelers larger vehicles and more trunk space. The service is designed to provide airport transfers to departing and arriving passengers.

UberXXL operates in 60 airports around the world, 40 of which are in the United States and Canada.

The ride-sharing company also launched UberX Share at airports. The new ride-sharing service will save 25% per passenger and is limited to two passengers to avoid crowding.

The service is available at eight U.S. airports, including Austin, Denver, Newark, Washington, D.C. (Dulles), New Orleans, Phoenix and San Francisco, and two abroad (Amsterdam and Madrid).

Finally, Uber has launched a new home screen widget for Apple iPhone that allows customers to request a ride with just two taps.
