Tell me the truth: Do you need to be interesting at a resort? If you nod your head silently, then you are not alone. Head to the jungle to experience the green fauna and flora, as wild birds chir chuck good night, big cats search for the ground where they can stroll to the evening. Through the rainforest resort gallivant is really different from any other green space I have visited and is probably one of my favorites (sorry Yosemite)
Belize is filled with gorgeous resorts in the rainforest. However, we chose to stay at the Bocavina Rainforest Resort located in Mayflower Vana National Park. It is close to Hopkins, Belize, and a few yards from the only Jaguar Sanctuary on Earth.
While you can get to this resort from the airport, we rented a car as it is one of the best ways to travel through Belize. ((Before Car rental in Cyprus Explore the island, which is the best decision to make travel easier. The same is true for Belize.)
Take our car and we can go Snorkelingdrive to Teakettle to jump Visit ATM Belize Caves And visit the Mayan ruins of Belize, especially the Cajar Page ruins of San Ignacio.
As we entered the jungle, we were immediately shocked by its original and luxurious manners – the dirt-red roads, the luxurious trees and the faint sweet drops in the rain. Wrapped around our windows, we could hear the CAWS of birds welcome us to our new luxury accommodation, a sustainable home that immerse us in nature.
We didn’t even know about jungle bathing, and found jungle bathing was the heartbeat of a rainforest resort.
Similar to forest bathing, it is the practice of health benefits (such as body, mind, body and spirit) that spend time in the jungle. according to ResearchForest bathing helps reduce stress, strengthen immunity, enhance creativity, improve sleep, and is a form of emotional enhancement.
Honestly, the shock of the beauty of nature never fades away because everyone in our travel group feels every day with gratitude for nature. Even among the 50 collective mosquito bites and lack of air conditioning at our resort, the tropical climate offers us a general vision that will always be imprinted on our brains.

For example, we met a couple who traveled for over two hours and went to Bocawina’s zipper lining. This is fun when you fly to the hillside!
But, this is not all you find in this glorious jungle paradise!
Here you will find amazing hikes that showcase the property, cascading waterfalls, or for adventurers, activities like violent waterfalls. I think the best thing to do in Belize can be found in this 7000 acre national park.
That’s right: imagine hiking in Belize and then trek through the jungle like explorer Dora (I won’t tell you to watch the show). Then, instead of hiking backwards, you walk through the jungle with a professional zipper lining line and cut off the overgrown segment with his machete because it is a jungle after all!
Head to the hammock for a quick nap and then prepare to swallow fresh and local food on site. We all know that food is an important element of travel. But what should you expect when you are traveling in the rainforest?
Freshly caught rainforest red snapper with coconut curry paste, homemade tortillas and beans, fresh fruit medleys, consisting of watermelon and papaya, and fried jacks – the list goes on. If you dine in Bocawina and cook with love, your food will be sustainable because everything is freshly ordered.

Remember, it is not recommended to drink tap water in Belize. However, this rainforest resort makes rehydrating the waters very easy. Throughout the premise, they have several huge 5-gallon water containers that contain drinking water and hand washing.
So refill your Hydroflask and one of many sites, or head to the dining area and grab a glass of fruit-infused water. Seriously, this is the best infused water I’ve ever had, and orange cinnamon is my favorite seasoning water.

Cockscomb Basin Jaguar Reserve
On the way to the Rainforest Resort is Jaguar Reserve in Cockscomb Basin. It is the only Jaguar reserve in the world. Here you will also find other animals such as black howl mice, parrots, etc.
Sarstoon-Temash National Park
Sarstoon-Temash National Park is another beautiful jungle. This national park borders Guatemala and is located at the southernmost tip of Belize. Because the park is extremely remote, it is the residence of many rare animals, such as the white-headed and curled monkey.
Moho River
Additionally, if you are a big fan of water, you can guarantee that a trip to the Moho River will trigger some flow. This Emerald River begins in the Toledo region. Then, winding through the dense jungle of southern Belize, ending in the Caribbean Sea.
