The universal epic universe is coming to Orlando’s newest (and most exciting) theme park and trust us that it will be epic in every sense. Open May 22, 2025this new member of the new Universal Orlando Resort is filled with groundbreaking land, immersive rides and family-friendly magic.

What is a universal epic universe?
If you haven’t been bombed by Tiktoks about Universal Epic Universe, don’t worry I’ll break it down for you. This is new Universal Studios Orlando’s fourth theme parkthis is their most ambitious person to date. Designed as a completely immersive experience, the park revolves around a celestial-themed hub called Celestial Park that connects five unique lands.
This park is about exploring, and each “universe” takes you into a completely different world, from flying dragons to crossing the super Nintendo world.
What lands are there in the epic universe?
Here is what you can expect from each of the five immersed worlds within Universal epic universe:
1. Heavenly Garden
The entrance point of the park is the sky park full of stargazing atmosphere, interactive fountains and lush greenery. It’s also a new home Star Racer Roller Coaster – This is a double boot thrill that is already a family favorite.
The purpose of this ride is to feel like you are chasing a shooting star, instantly, almost missing elements, even “Celestial Rotary”, two roller coasters spinning the bike halfway!
2. Harry Potter’s World of Wizards – Magic
The area is a brand new member of the Harry Potter franchise, combining scenes Wonderful beast and the British Magic Department. Looking forward to immersive stores, amazing food and groundbreaking new journeys.
We are very excited about this! Harry Potter’s world of wizarding is already incredibly immersive, so I believe this addition will be shocking. Liv has always loved Harry Potter, so it can’t be open for a better moment.
3. How to train your dragon – Burke Island
This whimsical land is perfect for kids and features Viking themed rides, splash zones and interactive dragon experiences. It is visually amazing and full of hands-on fun. Also, do you see how cute toothless is?
4. Dark Universe
Universal Pictures’ classic monsters have taken a modern twist in this weird atmosphere. Frankenstein, Dracula and other legends come to life in this exciting part of the park.
5. Super Nintendo World
Yes, it sounds cool! Enter the interactive game of Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach, powerful bands and popular Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge ride.

Each piece of land is accessible from the Celestial Park, creating a wheel hub and spoke layout similar to the Island of Adventure. After release, we will upload the updated Epic Universe map immediately!
Is the epic universe fun for the entire family?
Absolutely! From walking on Isle of Berk to teenagers traveling through the world of super Nintendo, there is something here for every age group. Even if you don’t know all the backstory or characters, these lands are so immersive and detailed that you’ll be swept by magic anyway.

How much does the universal epic cosmic ticket cost?
While Universal Pictures has not released specific ticket prices for the epic universe, based on current park pricing, this is what we expect:

Here’s what you need to know:
- 3 votes It is no longer available for arrivals starting May 22, but you able If you are arriving from May 23-26, you can still get them (just not included in the holiday package).
- For travel May 21-26Universal will now include 2 Park to Park Tickets In a vacation package.
- You’ll still get Bundle and save on discounts– You only need one park to park ticket, not three park tickets.
A little confusing, but most importantly? If you are planning to go to Opening Week, book as soon as possible and work with a travel consultant who can make sure you get the best choice.
