As fires continue to devastate parts of Los Angeles, the need for community support has never been greater. Families and individuals are being displaced and in dire need of necessities.
Denim is a durable and versatile garment that is one of the most requested items for those affected. That’s why Ella and I teamed up to launch cowboy drivea special initiative to support Los Angeles NCJW (National Council of Jewish Women, Los Angeles) and provide essential items to those in need.
Why denim?
Denim is more than just a fashion necessity, it’s functional, sturdy and timeless. For those who don’t have a stable home or enough clothes, a good pair of jeans can provide warmth, durability and comfort.
By donating your gently used jeans, you can make a real difference in someone’s life. Denim fulfills a practical need while also bringing a sense of dignity to those who receive it.
How you can help
Starts on January 13th and ends on February 10thwe’re calling on family, friends and communities across the country to join cowboy drive. Participation is simple:
1. Check your wardrobe: Look for jeans or denim pieces that have been lightly used and are in good condition. Please make sure donations are wearable and clean –No damaged, stained or non-wearable items. This ensures that donations meet the needs of the recipient.
2. Packaging and shipping: Mail your donation to our designated PO Box. Once received, denim will be collected and distributed directly to NCJW LA.
