The best ambassadors in Scandinavia

Scandinavia is part of the world I have always loved visiting because there is a lot of history and culture to absorb. One day you will find yourself docking in a bustling city center, next to a quaint seaside town. when Ambassador Cruise Line I promoted their 12-night “Treasures of Denmark and Sweden” on my ambitions, and I knew it was a cruise for me.
I have sailed with the ambassador to Canary, Madeira and Morocco before environmentbut this time, I will be with her fleet sister ambition, first. We sailed from Newcastle, convening Dundee, Copenhagen, Frederia, Ron, Visby, Stockholm and Alhus. I pointed out that the boarding was organized and prompt. This is the fastest boarding and on-board turnaround I have ever experienced on any cruise.

I always love walking around Stockholm, I know the Gamla Stan area very well, but when I walk through all the winding streets, I always feel lost in another world. There are cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops and shops that sell more traditional Swedish gifts and other items. Of course things around the world can be very expensive, so I tend to buy too much (if any) and I just like the atmosphere and the atmosphere.

Ron is a charming delight. I’ve visited on previous tours, but I don’t remember much about it. Eventually, a penny dropped. I think it was because it was busy on my first visit, but this time, it was quiet everywhere. This is a great place to hang out and with you there are some great buildings to enjoy. I have never seen so many conk insects in my life – they are everywhere! Hundreds of them litter the streets of grass and cobblestones. It brings back childhood memories, fighting in school. I used to spend hours strengthening them and putting them on the ropes to fight against other people on the playground.
Copenhagen is another port I have visited before and completed Tivoli and Nyhavn, I decided to use the free shuttle service and then walk around at my own pace. I was glad I did it because I discovered something I hadn’t stumbled upon before and I finally saw the little mermaid with graffiti. I explored Kastellet, one of the best preserved fortifications in Nordic. Today, it is used as a military institution and is a conservative region. It is constructed in the form of a Pentagon with a fortress at its corner. Kastellet is continuous with the mantel of the fortress that once surrounded Copenhagen, but today only Christian Shavn’s walls remain. The ground is cute and the windmill is impressive.

Overall, I really like the itinerary. I think it is well planned and executed. Nothing is rushing, there are always enough shuttles so there are no huge queues, or someone complains.
Ambition is a very comfortable boat with plenty of public places for guests to admire, including Angel Bar, Purple Turtle, spacious pool deck, large spa, theater and more. The in-car entertainment team is very good. It wasn’t always singing and dancing, it was a combination of things, which attracted my interest.

One thing I prefer to the atmosphere is the saffron restaurant because it has its own dedicated space. And open” environmentit is located in the middle of the buffet. Having your own dedicated space just makes it feel even more special.

There are many dining options, including Lupino and the aforementioned saffron. I was eating both during the cruise and found the menus different and I was most surprised by the meals in Lupino. When I first looked at the menu, I wasn’t shocked by the choice of the main course, but it turned out to be one of my favorite cruising meals. I can recommend the chicken souvlaki. The extra cost for Lupino is £14.95 per person.

Fresh bread and dipping sauce, a lovely appetizer, then a delicious main course that sums up the saffron. I chose Murgh Makhani (butter chicken) but can’t be wrong. One thing I did notice was the menu says the meal was with pea pilau, but when they brought the rice to the table it was with the pilau with apples and pineapple. I didn’t believe it at first, but it was one of the best rice I’ve ever tried. I can’t really explain the taste – you have to try it! Saffron is an additional fee of £19.95 per person.

I highly recommend the ambassadors in cruisers and couples. I did a lot of solo tours and found that the ambassador’s ship was perfect for having their own space, but socialized as well when I chose. Although the ambassadors mostly have no children, they do offer multiple agent cruises so the entire family can cruise together. These tend to be offered during school holidays.
On one night, the northern lights were visible in the sky despite being slightly covered by clouds. I can tell the shades of pink and green, so it was a real surprise! It was a windy night, but I bravely blew the top deck to take some images.

If you are familiar with cruise or considering an ambassador for the first time, one of their mini tailor itineraries will be ideal. These are often 1 to 5 nights sailing and are the ideal opportunity to experience everything this cruise line has to offer. The added bonus is that they both sail from British ports, so airports and flights are not to be considered – you can start your cruise vacation with stress relief.
