Marriott International brings its luxurious St. Regis hotel and resort brand to Costa Rica, with the building scheduled to begin in July this year, covering 49 acres along Papagayo Bay.
The St. Regis Papagayo, which is scheduled to open in early 2027, will sit along the 1,900-foot beachfront with 120 hotel rooms and 143 residential units.
The hotel will have six restaurants including Casa Club for casual dining; the cliff will serve Japanese and Costa Rican cuisine; the beach club and grill and the outpost of the brand’s iconic St. Regis Bar & Speakeasy.
The resort will have multiple pools, a spa, a beach club and 10,225 square feet of meeting and event space.
Regis Papagayo will be the brand’s first resort in Costa Rica and will add existing properties in the Caribbean/Latin American region.
