Park Hyatt, located in Christophe Harbour, St. Kitts, recently became the first hotel on the island to receive Green Key certification. Green Key is the leading standard for excellence in environmental responsibility and sustainable operations in the travel industry. Green Key gives guests the assurance that they are contributing to improving the environment during their stay.

The resort prioritizes efficient energy consumption and responsible water management, and promotes sustainable solutions to guests. These initiatives include the installation of a desalination plant to ensure a sustainable water supply for all hotel operations, and a reverse osmosis treatment system that recycles all water, which is then used in the hotel’s irrigation system.

This family-friendly resort features 124 rooms, 77 rooms and 47 suites, each with a private balcony or terrace. All rooms and suites face the Caribbean Sea and feature spa-style bathtubs, giving them a laid-back, sophisticated feel. From the premium three-bedroom Presidential Villa with a private sundeck and rooftop infinity pool to the two-bedroom suites that offer extra space, all rooms let you feel the cool ocean breeze in the morning.

The resort has three signature restaurants, two outdoor pickleball courts and a half basketball court. The highlight of the resort is its Sugar Mill Spa and Sanctuary, which spans 37,000 square feet and includes nine treatment rooms, a 24-hour fitness center, heated plunge pool, steam room and sauna. The resort is committed to wellness, offering walking meditation and “wake up and light” yoga. While there are many treatments to choose from, the restorative herbal facial uses jojoba, chia seeds and calendula, combined with local honey to soothe and moisturize your skin.

The Fisherman’s Village beachfront restaurant is designed to reflect the cottages and moorings that once lined the island’s coastline and is one of the best restaurants for stunning ocean views. Their adults-only restaurant, Stone Barn, offers tasting and vegetarian menus. One of the island’s most popular restaurants, Spice Mil, is located just outside the resort. With a great location along Cockleshell Bay, the restaurant offers a Caribbean-inspired fusion menu for a romantic dining experience.

Park Hyatt St. Kitts embodies a commitment to sustainability, offering guests a relaxing retreat where they can enjoy themselves while knowing their stay helps preserve this paradise for future generations.
