SeaWorld Orlando recently announced that the highly anticipated new attraction, Penguin Trek, will officially open to Park Guests on July 7, 2024. This immersive area promises to take a lifetime of adventure, combining exciting rides, delicious dining and unforgettable wildlife encounters.

Penguin Trek redefines the family roller coaster experience with its innovative design and exciting adventures. This ride is a family experience, seating everyone from 42-inch young adventurers to tall thrillers to 77-inches. Guests will beat the summer heat while waiting on the air-conditioned queue line. With two powerful launches and speeds reaching 43 mph, 3,020 feet of track winds in an indoor and outdoor environment in a series of twists and turns and breathtaking moments. But the real highlights await at the end of the journey: upon disembarking, guests will find themselves immersed in the cold range of the extraordinary and unique penguin habitat. This ending is not only exciting, but also educates the Sea World’s commitment to animal care and conservation.

“We are excited to reveal the latest addition to our excellent roller coaster lineup for Orlando SeaWorld,” said Jon Peterson, President of Orlando SeaWorld. “Penguin Trek provides a unique blend of thrilling and education that allows guests to immerse themselves in the wonders of Antarctica while highlighting our commitment to wildlife conservation and family-friendly fun.
