
Bad news: MuppetVision 3D is closing to make way for the Monsters Inc. campus. Now, this might be a bad news/good news kind of thing, because the Monsters, Inc. land is supposed to be pretty good. it will have Previously announced door coasters Based on the iconic scene of the door vault from the Monsters, Inc. movie. It will offer dining, shopping and new theatrical performances.

Good news: You’ll still find the Muppets at Hollywood Studios as they head to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster to take over from Aerosmith. According to Disney, the Muppets will be “teaming up with some of the biggest names in music to host a rock festival!”

Although Disney previously said construction on Monster Land would begin in 2025, no deadline has been announced yet.
Disney knew the Muppets had a loyal following, and MuppetVision 3D was one of the last projects Jim Henson worked on. They have announced, “As we move forward with these changes, we are having creative conversations and exploring ways to preserve the movie and other parts of the experience for fans to enjoy in the future.” That covers a lot of possibilities, but it doesn’t mean We’ll see MuppetVision 3D migrate to other parts of the park. But it will be interesting to see what exactly it means.
