We love Malaysian foodwe love the quality steak. You said, is there a Malaysian Fusion Steakhouse in the town? Oh, we’re there! Meet Bros has been on our radar since Paddington opened. Intimate cave setting semi-exquisite dining concept, promising food, totally halal food, no alcohol in the restaurant, it’s a thing Exactly Right on our street.
From the outside, this doesn’t seem special, but once you go downstairs you’ll find yourself in this charming cave environment – almost like Cappadocia – with an intimate and romantic atmosphere. Sure, the place has a high-end feel, but still in a casual and approachable way. On the upper level is a bar, waiting lounge and prayer space, and features some mural dining tables.

Meet Bros’ food (what we ordered)

Lychee Mojito (£11)
First, we get Meet Bro’s iconic ignorant and bestseller – lychee mojito, a blend of lime, lychee, fresh mint, soda and palm sugar. The mint-flavored flavor has a subtle gum undertone, making this drink a refreshing start. It is lightweight and crispy – you want to slowly sip to detect all flavor layers.

Meet Brothers Spring Roll (£12.95)
The starter started with these explosions meeting Bros Cheeseburger Spring Lolls. Juicy, juicy flavor, pickled onions sliced in rich flavors and they are simply delightful. The accompanying sauce is the perfect final touch of the dish, adding a strong kick and charm That left a lasting impression.

Asian style avocado sauce (£19.65)
Then we had the Asian style avocado sauce with chili tomato salsa and scallions on the avocado, served with lime and tapioca chips. After the staff put the dishes on the table, they will mix the avocado sauce for you. In terms of taste, it seems to me that it is incredibly rich, although almost a little too much, slightly obscuring the other ingredients. We completely worship the idea of cassava fries and not enough!

Lobster Curry Noodle (£41.95)
Moved to the power supply, we got the glorious lobster curry noodle. Essentially Laksa, but with a thicker texture, the broth is more like a sauce with lobster tails on it for entertaining effects. Its rich and harsh flavor definitely makes us our place, and the lobster tail is cooked. The only comment is, maybe let the tofu puffs soak in the soup for extra flavor.

Black Angus Argentina Ribeye (£38.95)
Then there was the highly anticipated steak, which didn’t disappoint. Each bite has quality, soft flavor and a rich buttery flavor. I recommend having the sauce on the side. We use one side of chili tomato sauce, namely Sambal Lobster Curry Noodle And the taste is definitely effective.

Lamb Biryani (£36.95)
Juicy and tenderly falling off the bones, those crafty BBQ lamb ribs are so popular with our little ones. The Malaysian style Biryani is nice – not too memorable compared to all the other dishes of the evening. The rice is served with a large amount of pickled vegetables, giving the whole dish a very strong flavor. Personally, perhaps the stronger Biryani will add more charm And contrast the flavors in our opinion.

Roasted Tomato Chili Peppers (£9.50)
Unfortunately, broccoli doesn’t have much roast flavor, but Sambar will definitely kick it. I would love to see more burnt broccoli that will provide a more complex flavour layer and make this humble side dish stand out even more, especially when paired with such a bold sauce.

Truffle Parmesan French Fries (£9.50)
These truffles have Parmesan fries that are delicious and have my name written on it. They are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, oozing the earthy aroma in the truffle, while Parmesan adds an attractive savory and nutty touch. Each flavor ingredient is very uniform, not too overwhelming, and blends together harmoniously. This is exactly how I love truffle fries!

Fried Banana Fritters (£15.95)
For dessert, we served with fried banana fried dough sticks, which is actually an elevated version of the classic Pisang Goreng. Wrap bananas in Kataifi pastries is a genius idea that brings such a beautiful texture. The caramelization of bananas provides a deep and rich sweetness and balances with the ultra-smooth silky vanilla bean ice cream, creating such a fruitless combination of flavors.

Pineapple Pudding Turnover (£15.95)
Despite the name, the pudding itself is not very pineapple y, and in some way, we really like this way! It has a rather interesting toffee pudding-like flavor that is lighter than what you would expect from a classic sticky toffee pudding, but still has a delicious deep caramelization that makes you wonder more. Adding pineapple cubes and vanilla ice cream, it’s definitely a fun and fun tasting.

Strawberry Lemonade (£10)
Just like the cute lychee mojito, you can’t go wrong with your strawberry lemonade, we just love this drink. It is always perfect for thirst – full of vibrancy, bright, flavor and refreshing taste.

Watermelon Juice (£6)
Last but not least, we paired it with watermelon juice, which is smooth, cool and clever. The vibrant red with a foamy top ensures that even with such a simple drink, it can send out an impressive presentation.
Meet Brothers Comment Summary
We love the dining experience on Meet Bros and will continue to praise us. Such a unique but approachable restaurant concept is very needed in today’s incredible halal dining scene. That being said, the price is on the steep side, so I recommend saving this location for special occasions. We strongly recommend booking because we see how busy we are soon!
