It is only a few hundred meters from the famous three sisters of the Cartoon Baba, Lianfels Resort and spa center It is a sign of the Lan Mountain Heritage.
This magnificent ancient mansion was built in 1889 by the highly respected Sir Frederick Darley as a summer residence. The name of the house comes from the name of Lilian, one of his five daughters. Lilian recently died of tuberculosis, only 22 years old. The German word “Fels” means “high place”.
After the Dali and his wife went to the UK in 1907, for many years, this has always been the summer resort of many families. Although the main building of the hotel is a modern expansion, decoration and layout are still consistent with the original house. The relaxed and exquisite feeling of the past vacation was still kept inside the wall.
The smooth entrance and reception of the bar and the lounge, the stroll hall and the corridor, and the magnificent stairs of 81 rooms and four suites to the hotel, all decorations reflect the 19th century style.

We are in Lilian Fern’s room
Our rooms have complete equipment and spacious space, integrating home -like comfort with high -end luxury. This is the lack of the quality of many hotels and difficult to achieve. Maybe this is the legacy or its unique position in this place.
Perhaps it is because of carefully added art and antique furniture, or the full -size bathtub and spacious shower room in the marble bathroom. Perhaps the large windows are far away, indicating that guests have a surprising conviction in common sense.
Or maybe it is the beauty (and expensive) fabric of the decorative window frame and brass cast iron bed rack.
In any way, this room is the perfect base of romantic accommodation in the mountains -especially waiting for our free cheese platter and a bottle of champagne on glass and dark wooden tables.
Lilian Fair’s facilities
When we explore this property, we discovered more information about Lilian Fairs. The property surrounds the maintenance garden and terrace. The border between the lane and entrance is the lawn, and the lawn is embellished with beautiful trees.
I am glad to see that there are no billiard tables in the billiard room, but a full -size Snooker table. Unfortunately, there is a large crack on this huge arena (its size is twice the size of the Taiwan ball table -A3 to A4 paper size), but this does not stop us from playing.
Two hours later, we took three cups of beer from the bar and finally drank the dark beer. I forgot how difficult Snock is. This is Christina’s first game, or it may be her last!

Along another corridor, we found the health spa center and the luxurious indoor swimming pool. The service here is just like the five -star resort hotel you expect, but the staff here is very friendly, so that we almost pull out the seats to chat.
We also found the reading room, although it may be a place I don’t want to sit down to read. If this hotel needs to be improved, it is this room.
The lights are too bright and cold, and the seats lack the soft armchair you want, and the title of some books is a bit too strong for our taste to think of the era of empire colonies.
We take a walk in the garden and explore outdoor swimming pools. Here, the “resort” part of Lilianfels Resort and Spa has begun to play a role.
Lilianfels’s catering choice
This is exactly the real advantage of Lilian Fears blue landscape resort.
Of course, Darley’s (multi -vocational restaurant in the hotel) is where you want to go. The cuisine here is not only better than anywhere in the area, but also in the primitive summer resort built in the late 1800s in Sir Darley.
Unfortunately, when we came here, it was the day when the Dali restaurant closed -it was open on Tuesday to Saturday -but fortunately, this is not the only food skewers in Lilian Fels restaurants.
Echo roof restaurant and bar
At sunset, we enjoyed the scenery of the cliff at Echoes, another high -end restaurant in Lilianfels. The food here is great, and it must make our attention from the incredible scenery of the night.
All appetizers with homemade noodles and two kinds of butter -a kind of ordinary salted butter and Paris cafes -style curry butter with apricot and pine nuts, as well as chicken fried balls with fragrant pepper egg yolk sauce.
I chose a unique beef: the quail egg yolk was placed on the fresh meat, and it was sprinkled with broken grilled peanuts instead of the usual pesta. This dish does not have grilled bread, but with a crispy car grass. I think this is great. I like the grass in front of the car.
Christina chose pickled catfish and Yangba shrimp, with crispy vegetables and catfish seeds. It is fresh, light, and rich.
In terms of main dishes, we have charcoal grilled and beef with roasted mushrooms and asparagus, as well as roasted pork breasts with roasted caramel cucumbers and zucchini flowers.
In the end, we shared the signature seasonal berry pie -happy cream, egg flower raspberry and juice, berry, and blueberry, and cleverly crowned the overall match.
lounge
The lounge is located on the side of the hotel’s reception. It is cleverly beckoned by the beautiful decorative art lobby bar. This is Lilianfels’s leisure dining room.
The comfortable armchair and sofa (by the way, it is suitable for the reading room) full of space, as well as an elegant high -back dining environment, and the open fireplace on one side creates a healthy and relaxed atmosphere.
Afternoon tea is supplied in the afternoon, and dinner is opened until 9.30 pm.
The main dish we shared is the Blata cheese with Cartres Salat, which is fresh and satisfactory. Christina’s braised beef steak with heirsbao carrot and creamy mud is mouthwatering. I and Niu Cheese Burger are a bit half -cooked, but I don’t mind. I like challenges, and the taste is there.
The hotel’s mascot Sir Fred also joined our ranks. The cute teddy bear is named after Sir Frederick Darley. It was originally his house and could accompany guests and entertain the children. I am honored to sit on our table.
Orange garden breakfast
In the morning, enjoy breakfast in the interesting Orange Garden in the morning and prepare for our day’s exploration. I don’t know why it is called Orange Garden, and I don’t know what Orange Garden is, but the breakfast here is great. They even have a Pikelet machine here, which can be placed on your plate at will!
How close is the echo point?
From Lilianfels to Echo Point, this is a specially built observation deck that can enjoy all the glory of the three sisters. If you are willing, you can walk along the road.
But thanks to the staff’s prompts, along the roads and stairs behind the hotel, we can not only enjoy some wonderful scenery from Madame Dali Observation Deck, but also reach the destination easier.
The road to the cliff trail from Prince Henry is much better than the highway. It will bring you to the impressive feet (or may be abdominal), and the legend of the local Darug said that these peaks are three sisters of Meehni, Wimlah and Gunnedoo.
A witch doctor turned the sisters into stones to protect them from plundering from three brothers from another tribe. The witch doctor planned to change them back to women after the attack, but he was killed before reversing the spell, so the sisters stayed here forever.
