Littleton, Colorado – June 10, 2021 – This week, the Globus family of brands, consisting of Globus, Cosmos, Avalon Waterways and Monograms, launches an important pre-travel update Health and Safety Protocolincluding requiring full proof of COVID-19 vaccination to participate in the company’s upcoming international travel, river cruises and independent vacation packages.
“The health and safety of our travelers is our number one priority,” said Scott Nisbet, CEO of the Globus family of brands. “And, as part of our commitment to delivering sustainable, responsible travel around the world – while meeting expectations Destination Policies – We are introducing new requirements for travelers embarking on an international vacation. They will now need to provide proof of complete COVID-19 vaccination during their international vacation. This policy update follows the latest requirements for our travel destinations. Provides travelers with the safest return journey and ensures more seamless movement between countries and within destinations.”
Under this new policy, travelers 12 years and older will be required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination completed at least 14 days before boarding. The Globus brand range will accept vaccines authorized or approved by the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control (CDC), European Center for Disease Prevention (ECDC) or official government agencies.
Those who do not comply will not be able to participate in international vacations on the Globus, Cosmos, Avalon Waterways or Monograms programmes. This new agreement will be effective for international holidays departing on July 15, 2021.
Nisbet also cited the company’s Safe travel planningcreated during the pandemic to increase traveler confidence in new and alternative bookings. “If our guests are unable to go on holiday due to COVID-19 restrictions, our free peace of mind travel plans give them the flexibility to move their plans to any other date, destination or itinerary in 2021 or 2022, We have a huge portfolio of travel products even for other brands and there is no penalty,” Nisbet said. “We offer travelers risk-free booking.”
