Frenchman’s Creek is a lovely creek near the Helford River, which inspired artist, musician, and perhaps most famously novelist Daphne du Maurier, who came on his honeymoon and moored on the French creek with her husband Tommy.
It’s a novel, an interesting story about pirates, romance, the House of Lords and the Lady, surrounded by beautiful descriptions of the Helford River and the creek.
