Starting this week, the pool area of Walt Disney World Resort Hotels (and the main pool at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort) will be controlled in the peak visitor era to ensure a more pleasant and comfortable experience for all resort guests. The following pool areas will be affected (more locations can be added as needed):
- Fuentes del Morro Pool Caribbean Beach Resort in Disney
- Beach swimming pool Greater Florida Resorts and Spas in Disney
- Big Beidou Star Swimming Pool Hilton Head Island Resort in Disney
- Big blue swimming pool Animated resorts in Disney
- Surfboard Bay swimming pool All-Star Sports Resort in Disney
- Calypso Pool All-star music resorts in Disney
- Fantasy Pool All-Star Movie Resort in Disney
- Hippie dim swimming pool Popular Century Resorts in Disney
Guests who wish to use the pool area in these resorts may be asked to display their magic belt (or the key to the world card), provide room numbers or display distributed resort wristbands. Guests who are not registered to the resort will be required to use their registered resort pool, as described in the existing Walt Disney World Resort Policy.
This temporary change is designed to manage capacity, enhance guest safety and maintain the high level of service expected by Disney resort pools. Please note that these occasional magic belt/world checks may not be performed daily.
