Elvis Presley’s unique recreation of the return to the stage in 1969 is scheduled for Thursday, July 31 Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino.

A one-night concert to pay tribute to artist Travis Powell is part of Westgate’s year-long celebration Presley’s 90th anniversary. Presley’s performance at the same stage (then known as the International Hotel) began 636 sold-out performances in seven years.

Powell, who had once made his own Elvis jumpsuit at the age of 5, was dedicated to honoring Presley’s legacy. Nine alternate singers and one eight band will accompany him with the exact performance list to copy the original concert.

Songs include “Suspicious Mind”, “Love Me Tenderness”, “Prison Rock”, “Heartbreak Hotel”, “Can’t Help Fall in Love”, “Blue Suede Shoes”, “Shake All”, “In the Slums” and “You Are Lonely Tonight.

“The legacy of Elvis Presley was woven into the structure of Westgate’s Las Vegas,” said Dawn Rawle, vice president of marketing and entertainment at Westgate. “‘1969 Live Concert: The King’s Return’ was not only a show, but a journey back to Elvis, which redefined entertainment in Las Vegas.”

Tickets For “1969 Live Concert: The King Return” (expected to be about 90 minutes) starting at just $10 (plus taxes and fees). Screenings are held at 7 and 9 p.m. Visitors dressed in stylish late 1960s fashion.

After the concert, a style is planned to be held at the Cabaret Theater from 9 p.m. to midnight. Westgate’s Elvis tribute performance is free, uninterrupted,”The king returns home“will feature Presley’s classic work.

From July 31 to August 3, Edge Steakhouse will also offer a special Love Me tender fixed menu ($120 per person). The three-course meal will include lobster biscuit; a seven-ounce filet and five-ounce lobster tail; and dessert.
