El Al is waiving change and cancellation fees as fighting with Hezbollah escalates and the fight with Iran is expected to escalate further.
El Al passengers who purchased a ticket on October 1 for a flight scheduled to depart on October 19 can cancel the ticket for free and receive a voucher that can be redeemed until December 31.
Additionally, if the rescheduled flight is to the original destination in the same service class, the carrier will waive the change fee, but the fare difference will apply.
El Al typically charges change and cancellation fees to holders of Classic Economy tickets, with the amount varying by ticket.
Flights to and from Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport were suspended on Tuesday due to Iran launching ballistic missiles at Israel, but have since resumed.
