We all know how important hydration is to overall health. It helps with sleep, staying regular (at home and while traveling), and more. While picking out a water bottle may seem simple, some bottles can make your water taste less than appetizing, be poorly designed so it leaks, or worst of all, just aren’t the right fit for your adventure. That’s why I’m a big fan of choosing a reusable water bottle that’s durable, hydrating, and doesn’t change the taste of the water.
While looking for a more eco-friendly water bottle option, I stumbled upon Super Sparrow. This is a sustainable company whose goal is to reduce plastic waste while satisfying your thirst for water and adventure.

Apple green is my favorite color so I am obsessed with my green bottle! My husband Evan, on the other hand, loves the Jade Bottle.

Advantages To-Go series water bottle
- Super stylish design
No matter what color, size or cap you choose, you want your bottle to have a polished appearance. What I love most about this bottle is the bamboo face on the ring cap. It makes the bottle elegant and adventurous.
- Various colors available
This is hands down one of my favorite things about the To-Go line of water bottles. With 20 different colors to choose from, like apple green, mango and lemon, as well as more subdued colors like emerald or cobalt, you can easily find a bottle that’s just right for you.
Another of my favorite features is that this bottle comes with two interchangeable lids. It comes with a stylish cap with a wooden seal on top, but can be easily replaced with a sports cap with a straw. Each cap has a loop so you can easily attach the bottle to your backpack with a carabiner.
It also comes with two straws, and if you’re lucky you might get three straws like my husband did!

In other words, the bottle is eco-friendly, BPA-free, phthalate-free, and food-safe. It also has vacuum insulation so it can keep water cold or tea hot for longer.
That said, I had no problem keeping water or smoothies cold while hiking. For cold drinks, you want the drink to stay cool for up to 24 hours, and for hot drinks to stay warm for up to 12 hours.

Super Sparrow offers 5 different sizes of To-Go series water bottles. Available in 12 oz, 17 oz, 21 oz, 25 oz and a huge 32 oz. What I love about the design and size is that no matter what bottles you buy, they fit comfortably in a standard size cup holder.

Disadvantages of To-Go Series Water Bottles
- Slings will not ship to the United States
This was a tough one for me because the crossbody bag is also a big draw for the To-Go line of water bottles. While the idea is neat and perfect for day hikes, the bottle doesn’t come with a sling if you’re shipping to the US
Using a sling to carry bottles is one of the best accessories I recommend for hiking, especially short hikes. Using a sling, you can (sometimes) Ditch the backpack while making sure to stay hydrated.
In order to have a sling for your bottle, you must order it separately and pay an additional fee. I highly recommend ordering one as having a sling is worth the extra cost!
