The iconic Grammy and Emmy Award winners and Oscar-winning artist, actress, producer and entrepreneur Mary J. Blige is the inspiration, transformation and empowerment. Blige has eight more platinum albums, nine Grammys (37 nominations), Emmy nominations, two Academy Award nominations, two Golden Globe nominations and SAG nominations.
Blige was influenced by music from Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan and Gladys Knight at a young age, and he brought his own gritty urban roots style – a blend of hip-hop, soul and honest, candid lyrics – at the forefront of her 1992 debut album, which is what 411 is what?
