Canadian Hotel De Glace Guide

This is an entire hotel built on ice, and a Canadian hotel comes to mind every year with new themes and features art installations from sculptors from around the world. This is how accommodation works. Guests check in to the Valcartier Hotel and visit the regular hotel room at 4 pm, where they can also enter the hotel’s De Glace lobby. Your room at Valcartier is where you leave your belongings and enter the private bathroom. Ice Hotel Room is available at 9 pm! Leave your items in the hotel room at Valcartier to avoid freezing.


A super thick sleeping bag is provided to guests in their De Glace room. It is recommended to wear more than a typical pajama. Full winter gear/layer is essential to the interior of your sleeping bag to ensure a warm and comfortable sleep in your ice hotel suite.
