On October 2, Seattle-Tacoma Airport added another international airline and city through Philippine Airlines (PAL): Nino Aquino International Airport (MNL) in Manila.
The jet arrives after dark, allowing for some unusual and interesting photo opportunities.

According to Maritime Airport officials, Washington State is home to the fourth largest Filipino population in the United States, and the route has been long-standing demands by travelers.

For belly cargo on the new route, these flights will add 60 tons of cargo per week.

Seattle is PAL’s eighth destination in North America. The airline has 46 flights per week to San Francisco, Los Angeles, Vancouver, New York, Toronto, Honolulu and Guam.

The Philippines will use the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on the MNL-SEA route, with Lie-flat seating in business class and catering services, including Filipino and Western specialities.

The airline has nine Airbus A350-1000 jets, and airline officials discuss hopes to join Chicago, Houston and Las Vegas in the coming years to further expand its U.S. route.

The new sea flights provide connectivity through Manila’s extensive international and regional international network with PAL, including cities such as Cebu, Davao, Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur.
