Musubi culture expert and Hawaii Musubi store owner Manabu Asaoka wrote in his “Musubi Book” (Watermark Publishing, 2018) that many TraceSpam® Musubi inventions of Hawaiian-born dietitian and entrepreneur Barbara Funamura, who first sold in the JONI-HANAS RESTEMENT in Kauai in Jonani-Hana Restorta in Kauai in 1980.
