They don’t call Aruba “a happy island” for nothing. There are so many great things to do on such a small island, you’re sure to have a great time.
Most resorts are located in beautiful palm beach. The water here is beautiful and comes in various shades of blue! The water is clear and calm, making it a perfect family beach!

Aruba is famous for its aloe vera. exist Aruba Aloe Vera Factoryyou can take a free tour, learn about the aloe vera plant, and buy some amazing products. Their aloe vera is a staple in our house and we love all the other bath and body products they offer.

Baby Beach is probably my family’s favorite activity on the island. Located on the south side of the island, this beach is a half-moon shaped calm lagoon perfect for families and snorkeling. You won’t see a ton of fish, but there are some coral creatures, including sea turtles, that are always swimming around. There are food vendors and some shade shelters around the beach, so you can make a full day visit. When you return to the island, though, we usually go to Kamini Kitchen for lunch (her blue lip mussels and curry goat are amazing!), just a few miles away.

Several companies offer ATV tour around the back of the island. You can find many treasures on the windward side of the island, including stunning landscapes, unique rock formations, caves and abandoned gold mines.

Catamarans, Offshore Fishing Charters, Wreck Diving, Sunset Sails, Jolly Roger Pirate Ship There are many more sea activities waiting for you off the coast of Aruba.

food. Need I say more? The food on the island is so delicious! Fresh fish and a fusion of Dutch and Caribbean cuisine are not to be missed. As mentioned above, we love Kamini’s, Linda’s Dutch Pancakes near Baby Beach and Wacky Wahoo’s near Palm Beach, Taste My Aruba in downtown Aruba, Bugaloe Beach Bar on the water in Eagle Beach, and dinner at the California Lighthouse watching the sunset . This is just the tip of the iceberg of restaurants we love visiting in Aruba.
