Mosaic Hotel Collection, in partnership with Napa Valley Land Company, has announced the start of construction on The Elene, a boutique resort and dining venue set to open in Napa Valley in early 2026. Designed by Signum Architecture and Parts and Labor Design, The Elene aims to transform the traditional wine country resort by combining an active community experience with tranquil sanctuary spaces. The resort will be located along the Napa Valley Vine Trail, providing guests with direct access.

The Elene Hotel features 50 rooms and suites, a heated swimming pool, restorative gardens and a fitness room. The resort will also include public facilities such as restaurants, bars, cafes, outdoor “living rooms” and an integrated cycling program. The overall design and planning of The Elene is designed to promote interaction between the community and the surrounding natural landscape.

“Elene provides an immersive and authentic Napa Valley experience by encouraging guests to interact with their surroundings,” said Tim Harmon, CEO of Mosaic Hotel Collection. “Our focus is on eliminating distractions. Providing a real platform for connection.”

The resort will occupy 3.5 acres and serve as a bridge between the community and the Napa Valley Vine Trail. Nestled among vineyards and just a few miles from downtown Napa and Yountville, The Elene offers easy access to world-class restaurants, wineries, retail shops, entertainment venues and more.

Elene’s design, developed by award-winning firms Signum Architecture and Parts and Labor Design, will feature free-standing structures surrounding a central arrivals area, interconnected by landscaped outdoor gathering spaces. The resort is committed to minimizing its impact on the environment through initiatives such as water recycling programs, solar energy initiatives and encouraging guests to walk or bike to the resort.

The resort’s 50 suites and guest rooms will offer private sanctuaries with private side entrances, large bathrooms, luxurious finishes and spacious decks with breathtaking views. There will also be public dining options within the Elene hotel, including upscale restaurants, bars and cafes, catering to local residents and visitors.

The Elene’s unique facilities are designed to provide guests with the essentials they need to actively explore the area or relax and rejuvenate. These include an outdoor “living room,” a 25-yard heated swimming pool, water recycling loop, transformative restoration gardens, fitness room, cycling program and multiple gathering lawns.

Elene is a project of the Mosaic Hotel Collection and will be built by Nordby Construction, a company with decades of experience building wineries in the Napa Valley region.
