In early 2023, the highly anticipated Super Nintendo World opens at Universal Studios Hollywood. This immersive and interactive theme park was designed in partnership with Nintendo to bring iconic characters, worlds and games from the Nintendo universe to life.

1. Immersive theme
The most impressive aspects of the new park are the vibrant colors and attention to detail that transport visitors directly into the world of Super Nintendo video games.
The land is designed to replicate iconic scenes from various Nintendo games, combining real-life environments with state-of-the-art technology.
We loved seeing familiar sights like Princess Peach’s castle, piranha plants, power mushrooms, twisted pipes, and other recognizable elements.
2. Interactive games
It’s no surprise that the video game-centric land is filled with interactive games and experiences.
Guests are encouraged to purchase a Power Up Band so they can interact with the land through various click points and games to collect virtual coins.
Each guest’s Universal Studios app records the completion of 3 “mini-games” in the land and allows them access to Bowser Jr.’s hideout, where they compete in the final challenge to win back the Golden Mushroom.
3. Toadstool Cafe
At Toadstool Cafe, guests can enjoy Chef Toad’s delicious dishes while admiring the playful scenery of the Mushroom Kingdom through the windows. The food was amazingly delicious and the presentation and theme were really cute.
4. Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge
Inside Bowser’s Castle you’ll find the most important attraction in the land: Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge.
This real-life Mario Kart is an indoor race track with visual components and video game features that allow guests to earn points in the Universal Studios Hollywood app.
Not only is the ride fun for the whole family, but the line up is pretty impressive, providing fans with plenty of Easter eggs.
5. Character meeting
No theme park is complete without the chance to meet your favorite characters!
Guests can snap fun photos with Mario and Luigi and meet Princess Peach in her charming gazebo.
