AmTrav announced that former AmTrav sales executive Ted Perlstein has returned to the travel management company to lead its relationship management team.
As senior vice president of relationship management, Perlstein is responsible for AmTrav’s “relationship managers,” who work with customers on implementation, provide guidance on policy and procurement, and provide other strategic insights, AmTrav said. AmTrav currently has 10 customer relationship managers, and Perlstein will help the team “continue to grow and identify new opportunities to provide value to customers,” AmTrav co-founder, president and chief operating officer Craig Fichtelberg said in a statement.
Perlstein, who began his new role in September, previously spent nine years at AmTrav, most recently as senior vice president of growth and retention, leaving at the end of 2021 to serve as chief operating officer of luxury tour operators Gohagan and AHI Travel. He has also worked at Orbitz, LastMinuteTravel.com and Career Education Corp.
