Max Bond reported that the team had another great day and everyone was doing well. They started at Shira Camp at 12,500 feet, climbed to Lava Tower at 15,000 feet for lunch, and then descended to Barranco Camp at 13,000 feet. It was a perfect acclimatization: “climb high, sleep low”! From Barranco Camp, the team had a steep view of the south side of Kilimanjaro, including the crevasse walls and icicles.
