Abercrombie & Kent has revealed the name of its first Amazon riverboat – Pure Amazon.
The 12-cabin ship will debut on the Peruvian Amazon in 2025, with sailings lasting three to four nights. Passengers can combine sailings for a seven-day cruise.

Pure Amazon will feature 10 suites and two single-occupancy cabins. The cabins will be light-filled, with earth-tone color schemes and Aboriginal artwork. Furniture will be sourced locally.
The ship was designed by architect Adriana Granato of Milan’s Studio Ibsen. Granato worked with local artists to design the ship’s interior to capture the spirit of the Amazon.
The boat features indoor and outdoor lounges, a restaurant, a gym, massage rooms and a sundeck swimming pool. A dinghy is also available for guests to cruise on the river.
This riverboat will be featured on A&K’s small group tours and custom itineraries.
Bookings will open to the public in August, but A&K says Trip Advisor will open bookings in July.
