Find the Elf Chore Challenge
For this game and/or chore challenge you will need a lot of festive plastic cups and a elf on the shelf! Take all the cups and spread them across the room, making sure there is an elf hidden under one of the cups. Start the game and watch your child run around the room looking for Santa’s Little Helper!
Sing or Swim Christmas Carol Challenge
If you have a swimming pool, you might enjoy our Sing or Swim Christmas Carol Challenge. Here you get a pool noodle dish, where one person places the noodles precariously on the pool ledge while another person holds them up.
You play a Christmas song for them and randomly stop the music. Once the music pauses, the person teetering on the pool ledge must sing the lyrics to the next song. If they guess wrong, the other person lets go of the noodle and they fall into the pool. If they do it right, they stay dry!
If you don’t have a pool, don’t worry, another method we’ve seen is to put whipped cream pie on your face! One of the players holds a pie tin filled with whipped cream, and if the person guessing the song guesses wrong, they’ll tenderly place a whipped cream pie in their face!
Shake up the housework challenge!
This game and/or chore challenge is a hilarious game! Grab some tissue boxes, plastic ornaments, a belt or something to tie around your waist. Place a tissue box on their back and fill it with decorations.
Start the music and see who can shake it fast enough to get all the decorations out of the box! This game really shows who carries the dance move gene in the family!
