Another New York 4th of July event as iconic as the fireworks is the Coney Island 4th of July Hot Dog Eating Contest. Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest will take place on July 4, 2022 at noon, pitting the world’s most competitive hot dog eaters against each other in one of the most famous competitions.
The event is officially recognized by the International Federation of Competitive Eating and is often witnessed by thousands of people. The current record for the event is 76 hot dogs in 10 minutes, held by Joey Chestnut. Will you see the record broken?
